Turtles Inc. is a fun charitable organization, established in 1960.  The Turtles have distributed over three-quarters of a million dollars to various children's hospitals, youth ranches, orphan homes, children's programs, and other recognized and approved charitable institutes throughout the United States and Canada.  

About the Turtles The Turtle Creed   Turtles are bright eyed, bushy tailed, fearless and unafraid folk with a fighter pilot attitude.  They think clean, have fun a lot, and recognize the fact that you never get any place worthwhile in life unless you stick your neck out.   The "Turtles" are indeed an illustrious group and include in their membership ranks some of the country's foremost leaders in the fields of government, finance, entertainment, aerospace and all other areas where aggressiveness, a feeling for fair play, clean thoughts and a sense of humor are keys to success.   Turtle History   Dreamed up by test pilots during World War II, the International Association of Turtles was an exclusive organization that became quite popular in the 1960's while the Apollo team was trying to 'maintain an even strain' and beat the Russians to the moon.  Membership was diligently sought after and highly esteemed by those lucky enough to be initiated.  Adherence to the creed and always giving the password when asked "Are you a turtle?" are the only responsibilities placed on the membership.  Life was much more fun and took on a new meaning if you were a Turtle where aggressiveness, a feeling for fair play, clean thoughts and a sense of humor were keys to success.  The  Association believes that you never get anywhere in life without sticking your neck out. Having no dues and a very small initiation fee, the Turtles simply ask members to go out and recruit new candidates.  After their initiation, new members are presented with a lifetime membership card and a turtle lapel pin, the emblem of the organization. Rank Structure Candidate - Someone wishing to become a member of the Order. Turtle - Any Brother or Sister Turtle initiated into the Order through the initiation and interrogation ceremony. Snapping Turtle - A Brother or Sister who has initiated at least 25 new Turtles into the Order. Grand Snapping Turtle - A Brother or Sister who has initiated at least 50 new Turtles into the Order. Imperial Turtle - A Brother or Sister who has initiated at least 100 new Turtles into the Order. Past Imperial Turtle - A Brother or Sister who has initiated at least 150 new Turtles into the Order. Master Imperial Turtle - A Brother or Sister who has initiated at least 500 new Turtles into the Order.
